An oak table by Sir Robert Lorimer

Product Enquiry

An oak hexagonal table by Sir Robert Lorimer (1864-1929) for Liberty & Co. The hexagonal pegged top above a shaped apron on slow twist legs joined by pegged concave stretchers. Circa 1924.

This is one of Lorimer’s iconic designs and the slow twist leg was inspired by a gothic table in Nuremberg Cathedral which he saw while on holiday with the shipping magnate and collector extraodinaire Sir William Burrell.
