A George III Plate Bucket

Product Enquiry

In the days before kitchen dining rooms these mahogany and brass bound buckets were used to for carrying plates up and down from the kitchens of some stately pile to the dining room by some poor servant. The handy slot down one side meant you could easily get the plates in and out however some genius has now made a brass liner and it is now used as a very smart waste paper basket under my desk.
